» DCIPS is now poised to render the latest Eco-friendly ash disposal system through state-of-the-art high concentration slurry disposal (HCSD) technology under an exclusive tie-up with technology provider having proven track record. The unique features of HCSD speak for itself :

a) Low water consumption (1 part ash require 0.5 part water).

b) Low land requirement (About a third of conventional requirement).

c) Disposal area is operated dry. Hence, no water recovery system (saving energy for recovery and subsequent treatment).

d) Eco-friendly (no leachet, no fugitive dust).

e) The first project has been commissioned in NTPC-APCPL joint venture at Jhajjar, Harayana, India in 2011.
